Tarek El Moussa Opens About His Two-Times Cancer Battle: Says He Wants To Live For His Kids
Tarek El Moussa is participating in ‘Movember’ that is a campaign to raise awareness of men’s health issues like prostrate and testicular cancer. The movement takes place every November in order to raise awareness of the men’s health. Men participating in the campaign are supposed to grow their beards and not cut it for the entire month.
Tarek El Moussa has a history of surviving not one but two testicular cancer and thyroid cancer in the past. He stressed in an interview that men need to take more care of their health and bodies. He explained that one out of nine men suffer from prostate cancer and it is preventable a lot of time.
He explained that it was even more shocking that the age group to become a target of prostate cancer generally lies between 18 to 34. He said that it is surprising that most of the young men are not even aware that they are at risk.
He emphasised that it is extremely important that men get self-checked and diagnosed from time to time. The diagnosis of testicular cancer takes hardly a few seconds and can save a lot of lives in the long run.
